This was Lily's 3rd year getting to participate in the World Ninja League's (WNL) regional competition and Avery's first change to take on the courses. Based on how both Lily and Avery finished the regular season, they had already qualified for WNLs World competition. Since they had already secured their spot, this took a little of the pressure off during each of their runs. Avery had 2 very solid runs in both the speed and challenge courses finishing 22nd and 19th respectively. He finished 22nd overall out of 27 males in the kids division.
Lily also had a strong showing in both her speed and challenge courses. Both kids got a little hung up on the final obstacle of the speed course, but she was able to secure a full course clear and landed in 29th place. She had a strong challenge course performance making it to the final obstacle and didn't need to use any of her retries. She was able to hang on and finished 24th in the challenge course giving her a strong finish in 28th place out of 36 females in the mature kids division.
